Tomorrow is my first half marathon! Woohoo for 13.1 miles of fun!!! Apparently there are "aggressive hills"....oh dear...
I think my favorite part of training has been eating - I can eat practically anything, anytime I want to. It's simply fantastic! The only downside is that since my metabolism is like a raging machine, my temperature is through the roof at most times of the day - it's gotten much worse than normal. My friend Jon suggests that I am going through the change. Whatever dude!
And the epidemic of squeaky brakes is spreading like wild-fire throughout south Minneapolis. Maybe it's cuz I live in the ghetto, but EVERYONE has squeaky brakes - inlcuding my own precious Corolla. Ugh! Is there a way to fix that?
One more thing - on my way home today I passed a car that had a bumper-sticker that said "I'm Pro-choice and I bowl". First of all, what the heck is that supposed to mean? and Second, I am pleased to announce that yesterday I beat my personal high bowling score! In between Heme lab and Micro lab Karin, Becky, Jess, Abby (yes Amy, there's an Abby in my class) George and I went bowling at Coffman. My team lost despite my score of 77...this is an improvement from my high of 66 - apparently I only make records in palendromes.
